Dr. Kumar is an experienced surgeon specializing in general and laparoscopic surgery, with expertise in oesophago-gastric and bariatric procedures. After completing his Fellowship in Oesophago-Gastric and Bariatric Surgery at Leicester Royal Infirmary in the UK in 2020, he returned to Malaysia and currently serves as the Head of the Bariatric and Metabolic Unit at Ipoh General Hospital. Dr. Kumar possesses a wide range of expertise, including general surgeries, minimally invasive procedures, endoscopic interventions, and the management of both benign and malignant oesophago-gastric diseases.
